As an alternative to project management, our consultants can install Simply Personnel onto a computer remotely.
Before this can be done, you will need to install some pre-requisite applications (such as SQL Management Studio and IIS), which our support team can guide you through.
Once they have been installed, the support team will call you or your IT department at an agreed time to complete the install. In order to do this, we will need remote access to your system.
The core modules will be installed onto the server first; these are Personnel Manager, Training Manager and Recruitment Manager.
The database will be created on the server you designate and the data loaded into here. The agent will then install the front-facing application onto the client and point the previously created database via an ODBC data source on the client.
Once this has been done; if Employee Self Service, Time and Attendance, Timesheets and Expenses or Rota & Rostering have been purchased then these will be installed onto the IIS server. The address on the server is what employees will need to navigate to using their web browsers in order to access these modules will then be provided.
After this, we go back to the core modules to install them onto a machine (usually a PC in the HR department).
Time dependent, we may also be able to install the core modules onto other computers or guide the IT team as to how to do so.
