There are additional SA queries available by clicking the ‘Load Query From Web’ button in SA and by downloading the simplyanswersqueries.zip file. Edit the files in notepad and then copy and paste the syntax into SA and run
Create standard tasks within the Training manager and allocate them to training courses, this will help you plan run and evaluate training courses and make sure you don’t miss anything important.
Convert applicants from the Recruitment manager using the convert button at the bottom of the applicants actions tab, this will transfer all existing information from the applicant to the new employees record.
Use the Guides and Tutorials link on the Simply Personnel dashboard to access a comprehensive list of manuals which will help you answer all the questions that you have.
Use the Manage delegate’s option within the Training Manager to search for outstanding employees training needs and then add them to a course to make sure employees are fully trained in their required areas.
In Simply Answers when you ‘Save Query’ half way down the page there is Schedule Query, if this is selected you can schedule the query to run and at a certain time and email it to yourself. (A good time Saver)
In the current weather we are having, the Global Updates for Absences can be useful to add groups of people absent at the same time, go to updates (top of Screen) and Select Absences. (You may also want to add in Business Rules under Absence Reasons ‘Weather Conditions’.
If you want to add a quick reminder that doesn’t relate to a specific employee, on the main dashboard click ‘here’ button under Task Summary, Select ‘ADD’ at the bottom of the page, but leave the employee field blank. This will give you the reminder but not link to an employee.
Use the Quick Links at the bottom right of the Employee details, this will give you a quick link to Book Holiday, Add Absence and View Attendance Record & Holiday Card.
