As the applicants go through the interview process, their acceptance or rejection can be tracked using the software. The remaining applications can be returned to the system for consideration of future placement with the company.

After the applicant that is best suited for the employment position has been chosen, the applicant’s information contained in the HR software program can be used to create the new employee’s personnel file. This cuts down on the amount of paperwork that will need to be filled out by the individuals upon being hired for the company and reduces the amount of paper used by the company overall.
