Record and Reduce Absences
Does it feel like you are losing time because of unauthorized absences? Do you know which employees are responsible and have any way to prove it?
These are only some of the questions that Simply Personnel can answer.
Simply Personnel HR software uses the Bradford Factor mechanism so that it automatically monitors and tells you when it spots absence patterns and then gives you recommendations on potential action you should enforce. You can also choose different reasons for different absences when you record them as well.

What is the Bradford Factor
The Bradford factor is a way to illustrate the way disruptive, frequent, short-term absences can be relative to longer occasional spiels of absences, like around weekends for example. Bradford scores help you identify certain individuals that show serious absences and those with patterns that are worth investigating further. It helps you recognize causes for concern and usually is one of the beginning steps of the attendance procedure.
The Bradford factor calculation is as follows:
S x S x D = Bradford points score
where: S is the number of occasions of absence in the last fifty-two weeks and D is the total number of absent days in the same time frame.
For example:
For example one absence of fourteen days is 14 points (i.e.; 1 x 1 x 14)
and seven absences of two days each is 686 points (i.e.; 7 x 7 x 14).
A rolling year is common, however other timescales like thirteen weeks can be used with the total associated points correspondingly lower.
